Apparently the PC did not come to the camp as had been planned which makes me wonder how the insecurity problems are going to be solved. As for now, the refugee community is enjoying calmness and there is no case of attack being heard but thats just for now, because the GSU unit is still [...]

Right now, the GSU unit of Kenya has been sent to the kakuma camp i guess by request from the UNHCR to boost the security in the camp. one thing though, when the GSU are there the insecurities dont happen but once they are out of the camp the killers come back!

The insecurity in kakuma refugee camp is not headed for an end, it seems. cases of attacks to refugees by the locals at night is still going on. young people in the camp especially in Uganda community do not sleep at night, instead they patrol around the community trying to look out for buglers.
